How To Unseal The Mechanisms
After talking to the Reckless Aranara, you will need to search for the 2 mechanisms in order to drain the water below the waterfalls, but to do this, one of the 2 mechanisms is still sealed. Check the table below to know how to unseal the 2nd monument.
Unseal & Activate The First Mechanism
The first mechanism can be found in the Ruins above the waterfalls. You can easily reach the top by using the Four-Leaf Sigils. Defeat the enemies to unseal the mechanism, then activate it.

Go to the underground cave entrance indicated on the image above. Progress inside the cave and search for the 2nd mechanism, which is still sealed and needs to be unlocked by activating the 4 Dendro elemental monuments.

 The 2nd monument is located behind a sealed room. There is a hole/passage beside the sealed room. Climb beside to enter the sealed room. |

 Procedures: └ Activate the Dendro Pile to reveal the Dendrograna (shown in the image above) └ ③ & ④ Destroy the Dendro rock while infused with Dendrograna. Then activate the monument behind it |
