As you explore the Dragonspine, you will find an ice that is not breakable by skills. To destroy the ice, follow the steps below:
Step 1. Search & Destroy Red Rocks In Dragonspine
Crimson Agate is a red rock found all over Dragonspine. Destroying it will give you the power to melt Ice crystals.
Step 2. Obtain Scarlet Quartz
Upon getting the Scarlet Quartz, you will be surrounded by a red energy.
Scarlet Quartz Respawns
The red energy disappears upon hitting crystals or if a certain amount of time has pass. If the red energy ran out, do not worry because Scarlet Quartz respawns.

Hitting the crystal in this energy covered state will destroy the crystal. However, you can only attack one item per Scarlet Quartz destroyed.

Melting Ice Cores For In The Mountain World Quest
You can explore more area in Dragonspine by melting the orbs of ice found in the mountains. You also need to melt 3 ice cores to be able to finish In The Mountain.
Unlocks Frost Bearing Tree
Frostbearing Location
Frostbearing Tree is one of the key POIs in the Dragonspine. Collect the Crimson Agate and get rewards!
Step 1: Get Scarlet Quarts Around The Tree
Break Red Crystal around the tree and collect Scarlet Quartz.
Step 2: Hit The Crystal In Front Of The Tree
As soon as collecting the Scarlet Quarts, back to the tree front and hit the blue crystal there.
Step 3: Repeat Step 1 & 2 & Unlock It
Repeat Step 1 & 2 for 4 times. Then you will be able to unlock Frostbearing Tree.
