Crystal Shards - How To Thaw Crystals?
Needed For In The Mountains Mission
Locating 3 shards is needed to complete the mission "In the Mountains". This mission will be unlocked once you talk to the adventurer near the entrance of Dragonspine.
In The MountainsUse Scarlet Quartz To Melt The Crystal
Destroy the red rocks to get Scarlet Quartz and you will be surrounded by a red aura. Attack the crystal while in that aura to damage it.

Location 1: Frostbearing Tree
Head to the location in the map above to find the crystal. You will easily find this crystal as you explore Dragonspine.
Location 2: Starglow Cavern
Starglow Cavern is located in the southwest portion of Dragonspine summit.

The next crystal location is inside the Starglow Cavern. The crystal is protected by a barrier so make sure to remove the barrier first before proceeding.
Follow Fire Seelies To Unlock The Barrier
There will be 3 statues in front of the area which can be a home for floating seelies. Send the seelies to their homes to unlock a chest and the Crystal.
Location 3: Entombed City - Outskirts
Entombed City Outskirts Location
Entombed City Outskirts is located west from the Dragonspine summit.

Head to the Outskirts of Entombed City to find the next location. It is near a way point, so it's hard to miss.
Head Inside The Hole Surrounded by Cryo Totems
The next crystal location is underground. To find it, you must head to the hole surrounded by Cryo Totems. There will be a lot of enemies inside, so prepare for battle.
