This World Quest is an essential quest to unlock the Tatarasuna Barriers to gain access to the Mikage Furnace. You will need to use cannons to break the barriers that will only become operational if you do this quest.

Also Essential To Unlocking Shakkei Pavilion

A treasure domain called Shakkei Pavilion can only be unlocked by completing this quest. This is due to the fact that a cannon is needed to break the barriers blocking access to this domain, making this quest an essential condition to gaining access.

Look For While Glowing Spots to Light Spots

To finish observing a location you must stand in a specific spot and press the Investigate button.

Each of the three area has an Electro related gimmick to them. If blocked, search for Electro gimmicks

How To Use Kamuijima Cannon
