After completing Part 1 of the Archon Quest Interlude: Act II, wait a day and go back to The Chasm's Bed to find a portal that leads to the City of Hidden Runes domain.

Procedure

Head back to The Chasm's Bed and change the time to the next day.

Interact with the portal and head to the City of Hidden Runes domain.
After completing the puzzle, go to the breach on the platform to trigger a cutscene.

Jump into the breach.

Examine the mysterious door in front of you.

Talk to everyone.

Head to the place Yanfei mentioned.

Talk to everyone once again.
5. Jump Into The Breach
Once you have complete the puzzle, head over to the platform with the newly opened entrance to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, head for the mysterious door.
8. Head To The Place Yanfei Mentioned
Follow the marker on your minimap to get to Yanfei's location. After a cutscene, you will need to track down Xiao using your elemental sight. You can find him at the end of the cavern.
Puzzle Solution
Memorize the symbols on the platform above and step on the matching symbols on other platforms to solve the puzzle.

Step on the 3 identical symbols for the top-right side as shown in the image.
Step on the middle symbol for the bottom-right side.
Adjust the lightshapers to match the symbols. Try to rotate and reposition the lightshaper if it doesn't fit.
Step on the middle symbol (for both north and south side).
Step on the symbol on the outer end (for both east and west side).
Adjust the lightshapers to match the symbols. Try to rotate and reposition the lightshaper if it doesn't fit.
Step on the top and bottommost symbol for the south side.
Step on the middle symbol for the north side.
Step on the symbol between the lightshapers for the middle side.
Adjust the lightshapers to match the symbols. Try to rotate and reposition the lightshaper if it doesn't fit.
Step on rightmost symbol for the bottom-left side.
Step on the leftmost symbol for the top-left side.
Step on the middle symbol for the top-right side.
Step on the second symbol to the left for the bottom-right side.
Adjust the lightshapers to match the symbols. Try to rotate and reposition the lightshaper if it doesn't fit.
