How to Restock Items
Rest at Base Camp

To refresh the Item Trade lineup you need to advance time by resting at Base Camp. It costs 500 Guild Points each time.
Farm Guild Points in Advance
Resting costs 500 Guild Points each time, so if you intend on taking consecutive rests, you may run out of Guild Points entirely. If you foresee the need to restock the item trader's inventory multiple times, it would be convenient to gather the needed Guild Points in advance.
How to Farm Guild PointsStock Also Refreshes Over Time
The lineup of items also updates as in-game time progresses. If you don’t urgently need specific materials, continue with the story or quests, and check the lineup again after some time has passed.

armor sets by using special materials obtained through item trading. Since these materials can only be obtained by trading in rare local items or Ancient Wyvern Coins, crafting them should be prioritized.

Item Trade NPC Locations

The Item Trade NPC in Windward Plains is Kilama in Kunafa Village. Kilama often walks around the village, so check the map to find their icon.

The trade NPCs in ‘Scarlet Forest’ are Musharpeye and Gawdygog in Wudwud Hideout. Musharpeye sits immediately to the right after using Fast Travel to enter the hideout, while Gawdygog is sitting around a campfire further in on the left side.

The trade NPCs in Oilwell Basin are Aida, Yabran, and Dogard in Fire Kiln Village Azus. All three move around the village, so look for the Item Trade icon.

The trade NPC in Iceshard Cliffs is Rove, found at Base Camp or Area 20. Check the map to see the location of the Item Trade icon.

The trade NPC in Suja is Sekka, near the Tent. Sekka sometimes moves around the area, so look for the Item Trade icon.

The trade NPC in Ruins of Wyveria is Ren in Guardian’s Village Sild. If Ren is talking to another NPC, you won't be able to trade, so wait for the conversation to end.
Item Traders Appear as Icons on the Map

NPCs for Item Trade will appear as icons on the map. Since they move around the area, if they are not at the location shown in the image above, try checking the map for their icon's location.
Also, NPCs may disappear from the map, especially late at night or in the morning, so if you can't find the NPC you're looking for, take a break and wait until it's daytime before visiting again.
Trade Available from Nata Without Visiting the Locations

Once you have spoken to and unlocked Item Trade with an NPC, you can also trade with them through Nata at Base Camp. This means you don’t have to visit each area to trade, so just talk to Nata to trade once the NPC is unlocked.
What is Item Trade?
Trade Materials with NPCs in Each Locale

Item Trade in Monster Hunter Wilds is a system where you can trade materials with specific NPCs in each locale. By providing the designated materials, you can receive items used for Equipment crafting and cooking.
Materials Appear Randomly
The materials available through Item Trade are random. Rare materials tend to be harder to obtain, so if you don't get what you need, keep updating the item lineup patiently.
Traded Items Can Be Boosted

Traders will increase the amount of items they give to the player per trade when there are active Gathering Boosts ongoing.
