  2. The Placement of the Pins Changes Every Day
  3. Make Sure to Hit the Largest Target to Get an A
  4. Use the Arrows at Your Feet as a Guide for Your Position
  5. For the Second Throw, Aim for the Area With the Most Targets

The trick to getting an A rank in Barrel Bowling in Monster Hunter Wilds is to put down as many targets as possible while hitting the biggest one at the back. To do this, you need to throw the barrel so that it rolls down the middle of the hill, so practice repeatedly to get a feel for it.

Practice Repeatedly to Get a Feel for It

Practice Throw

During the actual Barrel Bowling, you will use up your challenge tickets, so you cannot challenge it randomly. Practice can be done without using challenge tickets, so keep practicing until you get the feel of it.

Pins Will Recover Over Time

Targets destroyed during practice will respawn after some time. If they don't respawn after waiting, try moving a little further away and returning.

Rerolling Is Not Possible During the Actual Shot

The moment you talk to Koro and select "Yes" to the challenge, the Barrel Bowling Voucher will be consumed and saved. Please note that if you fail, you cannot close the game and start over again.

Barrel Bowling's target placement changes depending on the day. The difficulty level changes depending on the placement, so it is recommended that you try it when the placement is comfortable for you.

Depending on Placement, You Can Get 500 Points With First Throw

Depending on the placement of the target, you may be able to get the 500 points required for an A rank on the first throw. Some placements, like the video above, make it easier to get an A Rank score.

Make Sure to Hit the Largest Target to Get an A

Defeat the target at the back to get an A

There are three types of targets in Barrel Bowling: large, medium, and small, and You must hit the big target in the back to get an A rank. Try to throw the barrel so that it rolls down the middle of the slope, so that you can hit as many small and medium targets as possible while also hitting the targets in the back.

Use the Arrows at Your Feet as a Guide for Your Position

Use the arrows at your feet as a Guide for Adjusting your Position

At the foot of the throwing area, there is an arrow mark that is an eye mark. You can use the Arrow Mark as a reference to throw from the same location every time.

Once you are in a standing position, Use L2 button + right stick to adjust the direction of the roll. If you roll it around the small target in the center, it will tend to roll straight.

You Can’t Throw the Same Way Every Time

Even if you throw the barrel in the same position and the same direction, Sometimes it may roll in a completely different direction or explode midway. It may depend on your luck, so just accept it and try as many times as you can.

For the Second Throw, Aim for the Area With the Most Targets

If you can knock down the large target in the back with the first throw, roll the barrel with the second throw, aiming at the area where many middle targets remain. It is a good idea to change your standing position if necessary.
