Materials for Sealed Dragon Cloth Alpha

new armor

Running Wild is an Event Quest in Monster Hunter Wilds where you can obtain materials to forge Sealed Dragon Cloth Alpha. This armor also appeared in their previous title Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.

Popular Item in Previous Titles

In previous titles, Sealed Dragon Cloth Alpha only had Resentment as an Active Skill, which meant it did not have a practical use. Instead, it was mostly used as Layered Armor.

Running Wild - Monster Tips and Guide

1▼ Accumulate Damage to Discharge the Monster
2▼ Actively Destroy Wounds for Opportunities
3▼ Weakness Exposure During Mouth Attacks
4▼ Vulnerable When Replenishing

Accumulate Damage to Discharge the Monster

The charged state of the Guardian Fulgur subspecies can be canceled by dealing a certain amount of damage, and it can also be knocked down at the same time. Once the charged state is canceled it becomes significantly weakened.

Actively Destroy Wounds for Opportunities

Like other Constructs, the wounds will naturally heal over time, so there's little benefit to not attacking them. You can expect materials and the possibility of a knockdown from breaking the Wounds, so make sure to actively destroy them.

Weakness Exposure During Mouth Attacks

The Guardian Fulgur exposes its weak points during attacks with its mouth that involve energy. Since these attacks are performed while moving, it can be difficult to land a hit, but using Focus Strike can create an opportunity, so targeting it might be a viable option.

Vulnerable When Replenishing

After the energy mist dissipates, Guardian Fulgur will recharge its energy on spots with a mottled pattern on the ground, leaving it vulnerable for an extended period. This is a great opportunity to safely target its head, so take advantage and attack aggressively.
