Complete Quest of Ranked ★ or Higher

Complete -- Quests of Ranked ★ or higher refer to the number next to the ★ symbol on the Quest selection screen, such as in Optional Quests. As long as the number of ★ is equal to or greater than the required bounty, Optional/Field Surveys are not necessary.
Complete Quest in: (Field Name)
You need to complete the Quest in the field specified by the bounty name. The target doesn't necessarily have to be a large monster, so if you're looking for an easier option, clearing small monster-hunting quests is also a valid choice.
Hunt (Species) Monsters
The (Species) refers to the specific classification assigned to each monster. As long as the monster belongs to the required type or size, its strength doesn't matter, so choose one you find easier to fight. You can check the list of species in the Monster Field Guide.
Hunt Tempered Monsters Ranked ★ or Higher

Similar to clearing Quests of Ranked ★ or higher, the number of ★ in a Field Survey for Tempered Monsters determines whether it counts. Since the ★ count depends on which monster is marked as a Tempered Monster, look for a Field Survey that matches the required ★ rank. If you can't find one, joining a multiplayer session is an efficient way to complete it.
How to Spawn Tempered Monsters & RewardsAlso Possible to Fulfill Multiple Conditions at Once

If a single Quest meets multiple conditions, the corresponding bounties will progress simultaneously. For example, in the image above, a 5★ or Higher Quest that takes place in the Scarlet Forest and features a Tempered Leviathan would allow you to progress all four bounty objectives at once.
