The environment in Monster Hunter Wilds changes when passing time, resting at Pop-Up Camps, doing Optional Quests, or with Environmental Links.
Changes Over Time

The environment (time of the day and weather) changes over time. You can check the Weather Forecast on the map to check how many minutes remain until the next weather condition. If it's changing soon, waiting it out might be a good option!

Resting at Pop-Up Camps

By taking a break at a Pop-Up Camp on the Map, you can change the time of day and the weather. Guild Points will be consumed, but you can easily create the environment you want.
Combination of Environments After Resting
For example, when the Windward Plains is in Plenty, Scarlet Forest is in Fallow. The combination of environments after resting is fixed. If there are two specific locations you want to aim for, refer to the table below. If you rest at the Ruins of Wyveria, the environments of the other maps will be random.
