How to Hide Head Armor

1. Open Options from the Menu

Open Menu

To hide your Head Armor, first select Options from the System tab on the far right of the menu screen.

2. Change Head Armor Visibility

Go to the third page in Game Settings on the far left tab in the Options menu. Select "Head Armor Visibility" (second from the top) to show or hide your Head Armor.

Option to Hide Only in Cutscenes

If you select "Hide during cutscenes" which is the third option for Head Armor Visibility, the Head Armor will be hidden in the cutscenes but visible otherwise.

Benefits of Hiding Head Armor

Lets You See Character's Appearance

If you leave the Head Armor visible, the Hunter's face that you have customized can be hidden behind the armor. Even if you hide the Head Armor, the defense stats will not change, so if you want a better look of the character you created, we recommend hiding the armor.
