Monster Hunter Wilds is scheduled for release in 2025 with no exact release date announced yet. The next trailer for Wilds will be shown at the Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, which will be held from August 21, 2024.
There Is A High Possibility That You Can't Play It Immediately After Release
The Steam version of Sunbreak and a few other titles were supposedly playable from midnight. However, it was only actually playable from approximately 7:00 to 15:00 on the same day. The same could happen to Monster Hunter Wilds.

Cross-Play in Wilds can be toggled on or off from the in-game options. Select "Enable" if you want to play multiplayer regardless of the platform or "Disable" if you want to play multiplayer with only players of the same platform.

Monster Hunter Wilds save data is per platform and cannot be shared across different platforms. You will not be able to transfer your save data either.
