In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can pick up a transport item by approaching it and pressing the ◯ button. You can place the transported item on the spot or pick it up and carry it again. Be careful, if you get hit by an attack, you will drop the transported item.

Deliver to Camp

Transporting items such as eggs can be delivered to the camp. In this game, you can place four Pop-up Camps on each map, so if you can deliver to a Pop-up Camp, you may be able to transport the item more easily by placing the Pop-up Camp near the item.

Location of Transport Items and Eggs

Flying Wyvern Egg

Scarlet Forest of Monster Hunter Wilds

"Flying Wyvern Egg" can be obtained from the monster's nest on the upper floor of Scarlet Forest.

Transportation Specification of Past Works

  1. There is a Transportation Quest
  2. There are Movement Restrictions during Transportation
  3. Item Drops when Falling from a High Place or being Attacked
  4. Easier to be Targeted by Monsters
  5. There are Skills that make Transportation Easier

There is a Transportation Quest

Transportation Quest

In the past games, there was a transportation quest. It is not like a normal quest where you clear the quest by defeating monsters, but rather a quest that can be cleared by carrying the specified item to the base. Transport Quest may also appear in Monster Hunter Wilds.

There are Movement Restrictions during Transportation

When you obtain a transport item such as an egg, you will enter the transport state. While carrying, you will be holding the item in both hands, so your actions are limited to movement and Evade, and you can't attack with weapons or use items. However, if you can ride Seikret, which appears in this game while carrying it, there is a high possibility that you will be able to carry it easily without worrying about movement restrictions.

Item Drops when Falling from a High Place or being Attacked

Transportation items are dropped when Hunters fall from a certain height or are attacked by monsters. While transporting, you need to pay attention not only to the surrounding monster but also the shape of the map.

Easier to be Targeted by Monsters

While transporting, you are more likely to be targeted by monsters. Transportation is often difficult throughout the series, as you have to avoid monsters while trying to reach the delivery location while being subject to various restrictions on your actions.

There are Skills that make Transportation Easier

Skills that appeared in the past games include "Transportation Master", which increases movement speed when carrying, and "Marathon Runner", which reduces Stamina consumption when dashing. There are skills suitable for transportation quests. If a transportation quest appears in this game, it will be important to find skills that are effective for transportation.

Can use Ghillie Mantle

In previous games, using Ghillie Mantle, it was possible to transport items without being noticed by most monsters. Ghillie Mantle will likely be useful for transporting items in this game as well.
