In the released version, the frame rate has been greatly improved from the beta, with the 'Frame Rate Priority' setting now maintaining a stable 60fps. In addition, the newly added "Balanced" setting will allow you to play at a fixed 40fps only if the 120hz output setting is turned on.

Settings For PS5 & PS5 PRO
Prioritize Framerate

On PS5 and PS5 Pro, to increase the frame rate of the game, from the title screen, go to Options → Graphic Settings → Prioritize Frame Rate. Since the resolution (image quality) will drop in exchange of prioritizing the FPS, it is best to change the settings after actually playing the game.

You can remove the frame rate (FPS) limit by switching on the "120Hz output setting" in the game options. This setting only increases the limit. This settings is recommended for PS5 Pro.
