Pause from the Menu in Solo Online

In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can pause the game while playing solo online by opening the menu and selecting "Pause" in the System tab. Be aware that pausing is not available during multiplayer.

Features & What You Can Do

Stops In-Game Time Progression

While the game is paused, the in-game time completely stops, meaning the weather won't change and monsters won't move. The quest time limit also stops, allowing you to safely pause it without worrying about the game.

Use Photo Mode

While the game is paused you can activate Photo Mode from the menu, allowing you to capture and edit scenes at a standstill.

Hide UI from Screen

While the game is paused, you can hide the UI display from the menu. This is useful when you want to capture screenshots of the scenery, monsters, or other elements in Monster Hunter Wilds.
