How to Get Greifen
Craft After Clearing the Story

In Monster Hunter Wilds, the Greifen becomes available for crafting at the Smithy after clearing the story. The Artian weapons themselves are unlocked after completing Chapter 4-3, but the (Rare 8) Artian parts required for crafting Greifen can only be obtained after completing the story.

Since Normal Ammo can only shoot 2 rounds by default, make sure to get at least Capacity Boost x2. Not only can it shoot Normal Ammo, but it can also fire Paralysis Ammo Lv2, providing great crowd control capability in multiplayer. The Sheath Jewel slot is flexible, so you can replace it with something like Medicine Jewel 1 without any issues.
