Poogie's Location
Can Be Found in Suja

You can meet Poogie from Monster Hunter: Wilds in Suja, which you will visit in Chapter 3. If you haven't reached Chapter 3 yet, continue with the story.

Poogie roams freely throughout Suja and doesn’t stay in one fixed spot. Try exploring different areas around Suja if you can’t find Poogie right away.
How to Change Poogie's Name
- Approach Poogie and Press Pet
- Select Edit Name from the menu
- Enter any name and confirm
In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can change Poogie's name by approaching Poogie and petting it to open the Edit name option. Poogie's name can be changed even after the second time, so feel free to give it any name you like.
Approach Poogie and Press Pet

When you get close to Poogie, the pet command will appear. Pet Poogie to open the menu options.
Select Edit Name From the Menu

Select Edit Name from the menu.
Enter Any Name and Confirm

If you enter any name and confirm, Poogie's name will change. The maximum number of characters that can be displayed is 10 full-width characters or 17 half-width characters, so if you want to give a long name, use half-width characters.
Poogie's Petting Rewards
Petting Will Succeed When ! Appears
To pet Poogie successfully, try to pet when the ! appears.
You Will Receive a Random Item if Successful

Successful petting will reward you with random items such as Nulberry, Blue Mushroom, or Ancient Wyvern Coins. Once you receive an item, you cannot receive another immediately, you will be able to obtain one again after a certain amount of time has passed.
Poogie Will Now Follow Hunter
Additionally, by successfully petting, Poogie will start following the Hunter. While there are no specific gameplay benefits, it's so cute that you'll likely grow attached to it.
It Will Get Angry and Run Away if You Fail
If you fail at petting, Poogie will get angry and run to the back of the brush. However, after taking a break or doing something else, Poogie will start wandering again.
Can Poogie's Costume Be Changed?
Currently Costume Changes and Outfits Are Not Available
Monster Hunter Wilds does not have the ability to change Poogie's clothes. In previous games, it was possible to change clothes, so it may be implemented in a future update.
