How to Kick Players
In Monster Hunter Wilds, you can Kick players from the member list. Select a player from either the Quest Members or Lobby Members list and choose "Remove" to kick them.
How to Kick During a Quest
Open the Member List from the Menu
Open the menu and select the Member List from the Communication tab.
Select a Player and Choose "Remove From Quest Members"
The fourth tab from the left is the Quest Members list. Select the player you want to Kick and choose the "Remove from Quest Members" option.
You Can't Kick Players in Quests You Didn't Post
You can only Kick players during quests you posted. If you joined someone else's quest, you can't use the Kick function.
Monster HP Decreases When Members Leave
If a member leaves mid-quest, the large monster’s HP will scale down based on the remaining players. If someone isn’t contributing, Kicking them early can help by lowering the monster's health.
How to Kick Players from a Private Lobby
Open the Member List from the Menu
Open the menu and select the Member List from the Communication tab.
Select a Player and Choose "Remove from Lobby"
The second tab from the left is the Lobby Members list. Select the player and choose the "Remove from Lobby" option.
Only Works in Lobbies You Created
You can only use the Kick feature in private lobbies you created. You can't Kick others from Recommended Lobbies, Search-based Lobbies, or lobbies made by other players.
What Happens When You're Kicked?
Kicked During a Quest: Other Members Leave
If you're Kicked during a quest in Monster Hunter Wilds, all other members leave the quest. The quest continues solo. Even if you return to base, you cannot rejoin the same quest with the original members.
Kicked from a Lobby: Error Message
If you're Kicked from a lobby, you'll see a message saying "Connection to the session was lost," along with the error code **EW_34bc6**.
