The Hymstrigian in Monster Hunter Wilds appears on tree branches in Area 8 during seasons of Inclemency of the Windward Plains. These are considered the rare variant of Amstrigians, and only appear occasionally, so be patient when looking for them!

Wait Near the Tree Until Plenty Ends
The Hymstrigian appears on the tree at the Amstrigian's nest in Area 8 of the Windward Plains. It may suddenly appear around the time when Plenty transitions to Fallow, so it’s recommended to wait under the tree in advance.
It's Recommended to Wear Ghillie Mantle
When waiting under the tree, make sure to wear the Ghillie Mantle to avoid being spotted and attacked by large monsters. As long as you don’t move while wearing it, the effect time of the Ghillie Mantle won’t decrease, allowing you to wait safely.

By opening the Environment Overview from the map screen, you can check the upcoming forecast. You’ll be able to see when Plenty will begin and end, so make sure to use this information.
Capture with a Capture Net When it Appears
When the Hymstrigian appears, capture it with a Capture Net. Since it’s hard to tell when it will appear and its appearance is very similar to the Amstrigian (with only the color being different), you need to observe carefully.
