The best place to find the Hymstrigian is in Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. Plenty can be found on tree branches regardless of the time and can be caught with the Capture Net. They are in the same location as Amstrigian, which looks really alike, so be careful when catching them.

How to Capture a Hymstrigian in the Windwaird Plains
- Wait by the tree until the Plenty ends
- Catch it with the Capture Net once it appears
Wait by the Tree Until the Plenty Ends

The Hymstrigian spawns in the tree with the Amstrigian nest in Area 8 of Windward Plains. It appears suddenly during the transition from Plenty to Fallow, so be sure to wait under a exact tree in advance.
Waiting while Wearing the Ghillie Mantle is Recommended
Equipping the Ghillie Mantle while you wait should help to prevent any unwanted advances or attacks from large monsters. Provided you refrain from moving at all, you can keep the mantle on until the end of its total duration.
Ghillie Mantle UsesYou can Check the Estimated Time through the Environment Overview

You can check the upocming forecast through the Environment Overview feature of the Map screen. It should tell you how long it would take before the Plenty starts and the Plenty ends, so take advantage of this.
How to Change EnvironmentCatch it with the Capture Net Once it Appears
Use your Capture Net when the Hymstrigian appears for ease of catching. Considering how its exact spawn time may be unknown to you, and how it doesn't look much different from the Amstrigians except for its color, you would need to keep a keen eye open to spot it clearly.
