How to Unlock and Access Grand Hub

Talk to Tetsuzan in Suja

To unlock The Grand Hub in Monster Hunter Wilds, you must reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak with Tetsuzan in Suja. To reach HR16, you need to progress the story to High Rank and complete Chapter 4-2.

How to Join Friends at Grand Hub

Join the Same Lobby

Join Friends in Grand Hub via Same Lobby

To gather with friends in the Grand Hub in Monster Hunter Wilds, you must join the same lobby. To switch lobbies, interact with Alma and select 'Lobby ID Search,' then enter the Lobby ID of the lobby your friend is in. Alternatively, you can perform an ID search through the 'Lobby Search' option when starting the game.

You can check the Lobby ID of your current lobby by selecting 'Member List' in the menu. If you want to invite someone to your lobby, check and share the Lobby ID with them.

No Need for ID if You're Already Friends

Join Friends Lobby via Friend List

If you are already friends with the player you want to play with, you don't need to search by Lobby ID. Talk to Alma and select 'Hunter Friend Search'; a list of friends will appear, and by selecting the friend you want to play with, you can join their lobby.

Things you can do at the Monster Hunter Wilds Grand Hub include interacting with other Hunters, enjoying mini-games such as Barrel Bowling, eating Seasonal Meals, participating in Arena Quests, and accessing Squad Information Counter, among others.

In the Grand Hub, you can engage in various interactions with other Hunters. Not only can you be in the same space as in the online lobby, but you can also gather around a table for a meal or enjoy activities like Arm Wrestling.

In the Grand Hub, you can challenge the mini-game Barrel Bowling. To participate, you need a 'Barrel Bowling Voucher,' which can be obtained through login bonuses or item trades with Sekka. As a reward, you can earn Hunting Items, Pendants, and more.

At the Canteen area, you can use tickets to order and eat meals from villages across different regions. Previously, these special dishes could only be eaten when invited by NPCs during scheduled events, but after unlocking the Grand Hub, you can enjoy these invitation-only meals at any time.

Everyone can Eat for Free if Someone Uses a Voucher

When someone uses a Meal Voucher in the Grand Hub, all members in the same lobby can eat without using their own Meal Vouchers. To avoid overlap, be sure to communicate with others before using any Meal Vouchers.

Get Voucher from Login Bonus and Bounties

Pick a Meal Voucher from Bounties

Meals at the Canteen can only be consumed using Meal Vouchers; they cannot be purchased with money or Guild Points. Meal Vouchers can be obtained as login bonuses or as rewards for completing bounties. Since the number of vouchers you can obtain is limited, keep in mind that meals are not available for unlimited use.

Accept Arena Quests

At the Grand Hub's Arena Quest Counter, you can accept Arena Quests. These quests involve hunting specific monsters with designated equipment while competing for the fastest time. In past games, the goal was to reduce your time and achieve a high clear rank, but in this game, you will be able to view world rankings on the Expedition Record Board at the entrance to the Grand Hub.

Rankings for Arena and Challenge Quests can be viewed on the Expedition Record Board located directly at the entrance of the Grand Hub. The rankings display information such as the weapon used, time ranking, completion time, and the date of the record. You can also check your personal best records there.

At the Arena Quest Counter, you can also accept Challenge Quests. The Challenge Quests are limited-time event-style combat tournaments. As participation rewards, you will receive exclusive Pendants, and depending on your record and ranking, you can earn Pendants with enhanced decorations, making it an even more competitive and rewarding content.

You can get a limited Pendant as a participation reward in the Challenge Quest, so even if you are not aiming for a high score, don't forget to receive the participation reward. Also, depending on your score, you can get a pendant with luxurious decorations depending on your record and ranking.

Seasonal Festivities

At the Grand Hub, a limited-time event called the Festival of Accord is held each season. During the event, the decorations and meals at the Grand Hub will change. You can also obtain exclusive equipment, gestures, and Pop-Up Camp decorations, as well as participate in seasonal event quests.

During the Festival of Accord, most of the past event quests will return. If there are quests and rewards you missed or ones you would like to complete again, take advantage of this event.

The Squad Information Counter located at the Base Camp in Windward Plains will be moved to the Grand Hub. If you need to change any squad related settings, make sure to use the counter at the Grand Hub.

You Can Go Fishing

Inside the Grand Hub, there is a fishing spot where you can fish. In the introduction video, there was a fishing scene during the Festival of Accord, suggesting that certain fish may be available only during specific seasons, making them limited-time catches.

Listen to Diva Singing

Diva Singing

At night in the Grand Hub, you may have the opportunity to listen to the Diva singing. If you listen to it until the end, it gives the Hunter a random buff. During the performance you can sit on a nearby chair, allowing you to change the camera angle and zoom in for a closer view.

Giant Downy Crake Location

Behind the South Waterfall

Downy Crake Location in Grand Hub

Behind the waterfall in the Grand Hub, you can find a bird (Giant Downy Crake). The bird is located on a slightly elevated area behind the waterfall, and you cannot access it by simply getting close to the waterfall. Instead, you'll need to jump from a nearby platform. How Many Players in Grand Hub Lobby

In Monster Hunter Wilds, players in the same lobby can enter the Grand Hub, so the maximum number of participants is the same as the lobby limit—100 players. However, when many players are present in the Grand Hub, the game may impose display limits or other load-reducing measures.
