In Monster Hunter Wilds, Gold Crowns can be confirmed by using binoculars. You can tell if the monster has a Gold Crown if you use binoculars as it shows an icon.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, binoculars can be used by selecting them in the item bar. Find the binoculars icon and then press Square (▢) to use them.

Gold Crowns for Endemic Life Not Yet Confirmed

Gold Crowns for Endemic Life Have Not Been Confirmed

As of the open beta (trial version), Gold Crowns for Endemic Life are not yet confirmed. Since Endemic Life cannot be focused on while using binoculars, it is possible that they do not have Gold Crowns in Monster Hunter Wilds.

In the open beta (trial version), you can only see the Gold Crown icon before defeating a monster, and there is no particular advantage yet to hunting Gold Crown monsters.

In previous games, completing a collection of large monster Gold Crowns awarded trophies or achievements in your account. The full version of Monster Hunter Wilds may include trophies for completing the Monster List with Gold Crowns.

Monster sizes may vary, and Gold Crowns are given to large or small scaled monsters. If you spot a monster that you think is different in size than usual, try checking it with binoculars.
