Weapon and Armor Skills

In Monster Hunter Wilds, equipment skills are divided into two categories: skills that only affect weapons, and skills that only affect armor. Remember to check which skills affect which, as these will have greatly affect your build.

Decorations are Also Categorized

Decorations in Monster Hunter Wilds are also divided into decorations for weapons and decorations for armor.


Group Skills

Monster Hunter Wilds introduces a new type of skill known as Group Skills. Pieces of armor are now designated to a group, and equipping at least 3 pieces of armor from the same group activates the corresponding group skill.

Set Bonus Skills

Equip 2 or 4 pieces of Armor from the same set

Similar to previous titles, Set Bonuses are also present in Monster Hunter Wilds. These are additional skills acquired by equipping 2 or 4 pieces of armor from the same set.

Activate Skills by Equipping Them

Monster Hunter Wilds - Activate Skills by Equipping Them

In Monster Hunter Wilds, Skills can be activated by equipping the corresponding weapons, armor, decorations, etc. that have the skill effects. Check if your equipment has your desired skill and begin assembling your build!
