The Smokeshroud Gekko in Monster Hunter Wilds appears in Area 14 of the Windward Plains. It can be located attached to the wall at the halfway point of where you can pass through the water. If the Gekko notices the Hunter, it will begin to emit light and move frantically, but it will not despawn, so take your time when aiming your Capture Net.
