Area 13 and Area 14 Fishing

There are four fishing spots in Windward Plains. When moving to a fishing spot, it's recommended to open the map and set a waypoint on the icon near the fishing area. Once the waypoint is set, Seikret will automatically take you there when you mount it.

The fishing spot in Area 13 is located at the Oasis in the center of Area 13.

Area 14 How to Get There

The fishing spot in Area 14 is located past the path leading below, starting from the Oasis area in the center of Area 13.

Use a Fishing Rod in Fish-Populated waters

When a Fish Bites

Approach a body of water with fish and equip your fishing rod. Use L2 and the right stick to aim, then press R2 to cast the lure. Guide it with the left stick, and when a fish bites, press R2 at the right moment to reel it in.

Approach a body of water with a fish and equip your fishing rod. Right-click and use the mouse to aim, then left-click to cast the lure. Use the W and S keys to guide the lure, and when a fish bites, left-click at the right moment to reel it in.

You can freely change the bait used for fishing, and the type of fish you can catch varies depending on the bait.

Throw the Capture Net with the Mouse Wheel Button.

You can catch fish using the slinger while equipped with the Capture Net. Unlike the fishing rod, you can catch multiple fish at once if they are gathered together. However, the range is shorter than the fishing rod, so you will need to get closer.
