Accept an Optional Quest in Scarlet Forest with the Plenty. Chaliceweed can only be gathered in two locations that only appear during the Plenty.
Place Pop-Up Camps in Scarlet Forest

Place a Pop-Up Camp in Area 12 of Scarlet Forest to collect Chaliceweed more efficiently.

Press L2 + D-Pad to Select Target

You can select the target by pressing L2 + D-pad while underwater. Gathering can also be done manually by placing the cursor on the target. However, this method is not recommended as it is time-consuming.
Geologist Increases Items Obtained

Activating Geologist level 2 increases the number of items acquired from 1 to 2. The Geologist skill can be found on the Chainmail Equipment Set, which is provided to you from the start of the game.
Return From Quest

After collecting all the Chaliceweed, return from the quest. If you accept the Optional Quest again, the Chaliceweed will respawn, so return to Step 1.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, Chaliceweed can be obtained from Glass Algae in the Scarlet Forest. It can only be gathered from two locations that appear in the Plenty environment, and the drop rate is relatively low, so be cautious.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, Chaliceweed is used for item trade with Rove, who can be found either at the Base Camp in the Iceshard Cliffs or in Area 20. A recommended use for it is exchanging it for an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
Item Trade GuideYou Can Trade With Nata After Talking Once

After clearing Chapter 4-1, if you talk to Rove at least once, you can item trade with Rove by talking to Nata at Base Camp. From now on, you will no longer need to go to Iceshard Cliffs.
