New Monster Found in Scarlet Forest
Lala Barina is a new monster introduced in Monster Hunter Wilds. It can be found in the Scarlet Forest. It employs needles and thorns to paralyze and attack its target.
Armor Showcased in Charge Blade Trailer
The weapons and armor in the Charge Blade trailer has the same color scheme as Lala Barina. It's very likely that the armor and weapon can be crafted from Lala Barina's materials.
Lala Barina - Attacks And Behaviors
Needle Stab
After repositioning to bring out its needle, it will stab its target with a needle from its abdomen. If it hits the target enough times, the target will become paralyzed.
Accumulation of Status Effects & Ailments Are Now Shown
In Monster Hunter Wilds, Status Effect and Ailment accumulation and duration are now shown above the Health bar. It's likely that Poison and other status effects will be displayed in the same way.

Paralyzing Thorns from the Abdomen
Lala Barina will purposely shed paralyzing thorns from its abdomen, which then stay in the air. It can paralyze targets if they are hit by it several times. The thorns do get destroyed when hit by an attack. Gunners can safely remove them from a distance.
Forward Punch
A punch attack that pokes forward. It is a bit difficult to anticipate the attack since it's quick with little windup, but can be easily sidestepped when you see it moving its hands to the front of its face.
Side Cleave
An attack that has Lala Barina sweep its hand from side to the front. This move starts with Lala Barina stiffening its hand before the attack.
Foreleg Thrust
Lala Barina thrusts its front leg forward. It's fairly easy to understand, just move left or right when the leg is raised.
Turf War with Doshaguma
It was shown that Lala Barina has a Turf War with Doshaguma. It seems that Doshaguma becomes paralyzed after it because Lala Barine desperses paralyzing thorns during it.
