Use These Values to Get the Same Look

Use these values in the Palico Customization screen to achieve your desired Palico appearance. Choose Edit Palico from the load screen.

How to Check and Edit Recipes

To check and edit recipes, open the Palico editing menu. Use the L1 or R1 button to switch tabs, and select the rightmost tab.

How to Create and Customize Palico

Edit Palico from the Title Screen

Character creation and customization in Monster Hunter Wilds Beta can be done from the title screen. This includes options for both your Hunter and your Palico.

Edit Palico at the Camp

1. Go inside the tent	2. Choose Change Appearance

You can also customize your Palico from the camp. Enter your tent and select the option to change your appearance. This allows you to re-edit your character and Palico even after starting your game, although some items will remain unavailable for editing.

Character Data Can Be Transferred to Official Release Version

Characters created in the open beta can be transferred to the full version. If you want to use the data from the test, make sure to transfer it to the full version.

Things that can be Changed

The character creation in Monster Hunter Wilds offers more customization options than its predecessor, Monster Hunter World. You can fine-tune each aspect to make a character you prefer as well as enable or disable Palico language and configure voice settings.

How to Redo the Palico Customization

Redo with Edit Voucher

From the Save Data Selection screen, hover the cursor over your save data, and the character editing option will appear. This allows you to fully rework your character, including the name. Each redo requires a Palico Edit Voucher.

Get One Edit Voucher for Free on Full Game’s Release

One "Character Edit Voucher" and one "Palico Edit Voucher" will be given for free at the game's full release. Once used, succeeding character edits will require payment.

How to Transfer Character Data

Access the Edit Menu

To transfer character creation data in Monster Hunter Wilds, go to the "Edit" menu and select "Beta Test Data" during character creation. If you did not save your character creation data during the beta test, you won't be able to transfer it.

Things to Know when Transferring Character Data

If you participated in the first Open Beta Test, you need to at least log in during the Second Beta Test and save your game to ensure that your saved data is uploaded to the game's servers for the official release.
