How to Prepare & What to Do If You Can't Win

Review Your Equipment's Skills

skills

Each piece of equipment has a skill attached to it. If you are concerned about survivability, consider activating Defense Boost skills. On the other hand, equipping skills like Attack Boost will enhance your damage output. If you can't defeat a monster, we recommend crafting and upgrading armor before starting a hunt.

Learn How To Use Your Weapon

Each weapon has its own set of unique moves and combos, so take the time to familiarize yourself with them. Learning a weapon's moveset is integral to maximizing damage output. Doing so will also allow you to better adapt your playstyle or approach depending on the monster's behavior.

Learn The Monster's Attack Patterns

The most important thing in a hunt is to familiarize yourself with the monster's weaknesses, attack patterns and phase changes. If you learn the monsters attack patterns, you will be able to predict their next action based on their attack patterns and take less damage.
