Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo - Strategy Guide
- Accept the Quest (HR9 or Higher)
- Start at Area 8 Underground Lake
- Hunt the Yian Kut-Ku
Accept the Quest (Online)

To accept the event quest 'Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo', talk to Alma or open the quest menu from the Tent while online. You must be HR 9 or higher to accept the quest, so if your HR is too low, progress further in the main story first.
Start at Area 8 Underground Lake

The target monster for the quest, Yian Kut-Ku, initially appears near Area 8. To quickly reach it, start from the Underground Lake Camp in Area 8. Although multiple Yian Kut-Ku can appear in other areas, you must hunt the specific target located in Area 8 to complete the quest.
Hunt the Yian Kut-Ku

Only Yian Kut-Ku appears on the map during the quest, and they often move in groups. First, use a Dung Pod to separate them. Defeating them outright is fine, but since their nest is located far away, using a Flash Bomb to stop their movement and capturing them before they flee will make clearing the quest much smoother.
