---|
The Monster Hunter Wilds x Street Fighter 6 collaboration is now live as permanent content, not a limited-time event. Available items include Akuma's full armor set, Blanka-Chan Palico equipment, and Alma layered armor for Chun-Li and Cammy.
SF6 Collaboration SummaryAkuma Armor Set Added

The Akuma Equipment set is now in Monster Hunter Wilds! This full armor set transforms your hunter into Akuma himself, which can't be mixed with other equipment. Once equipped, your character's appearance, including face and physique, will completely change to match Akuma in SF6, regardless of your original character customization.
How to Get Akuma Armor SetUnlock Special Moves with Akuma Armor Set
Wearing Akuma's full armor set or Layered Armor in Monster Hunter Wilds grants access to exclusive Akuma-style actions from the 'Item Bar'. You can trigger the 'Assisted Combo: Akuma', which branches into a variety of combo attacks, and even unleash signature special moves like the 'Gou Hadoken' and 'Gou Shoryuken!'

Each unique move comes in three main types and can be used from the Item Bar. You can also register them to the custom 'Radial Menu' for quicker access.
Equipping Armor Stronger Than Layered
Equipping the full armor set boosts attack power considerably compared to using it as layered armor, and 'Assisted Combos' and other actions will gain stun properties while the 'Drive Impact' action will gain an offset effect.
Unique 'Quest Complete' Animation
When you defeat a monster while wearing Akuma's equipment, a unique 'Quest Complete' or 'Victory' sequence plays featuring bold text like K.O. and AKUMA WINS, giving your hunt a dramatic Street Fighter-style finish!
Suit Up Your Palico with Blanka Gear!

Blanka-themed gear, 'Blanka-Chan,' is joining Monster Hunter Wilds as a special Palico equipment set! Just like Akuma's, it's a one-set armor, so it can't be mixed with other gear pieces.

Predictions of Future Collabs
Collabs with Capcom IPs

Collaborations with characters from other Capcom IPs are a regular occurrence for the Monster Hunter series, of which Street Fighter and Mega Man are fairly popular. So it is likely that future collabs will also include appearances of characters from other Capcom games in some shape or form.
Collabs from Other Capcom Games | ||
---|---|---|
Street Fighter | Mega Man | Resident Evil |
MH Stories | Okami | Devil May Cry |
Sengoku BASARA | Ace Attorney | Ghosts n' Goblins |
While not from Capcom, Sonic the Hedgehog from SEGA also makes recurring appearances in the MH series!
USJ Collabs

Monster Hunter collaborating with USJ (Universal Studios Japan) is also another regular occurrence for the series. There have been many iterations of USJ armor sets from past games, and they have notably always been themed in a blue color, so we expect that the armor coming for Wilds will also be blue.
Final Fantasy Collabs

For MH World, there was a special Final Fantasy 14 collaboration which added the recurring monster Behemoth
as a new, special, huntable monster. This collaboration was skipped in Rise because of the mismatch with the Japanese-style worldview, but there is potential for a re-implementation in Wilds.
The Witcher Collabs

For MH World, there was a Witcher 3 collab which allowed Hunters to challenge a tree-like creature known as a Leshen
. With Witcher 4 having been officially announced, it is possible we'll see a collab sometime in the far future.
