Whetstone - How to Use

The Whetstone is an item that refills the Sharpness meter of weapons. You can use it out on the field through your Radial Menu. You don't consume anything when using it so you can use it whenever you want.
Recover Sharpness with Every Stroke
The Whetstone in Monster Hunter Wilds works differently than in previous titles. In this installment, the Whetstone increases Sharpness with every stroke instead of needing to complete an animation to fully refill Sharpness.
Can be Used while Riding the Seikret
The Whetstone can be used while riding the Seikret. This makes it very easy to top up Sharpness as you travel to a monster's location or as you are running away from battle.

Available at the Start of the Game
Hunters will have the Whetstone in their inventory at the start of the game. It is set in the Radial Menu making it easy to use without having to go through your whole Item Bar!
