How to Start / Accept Event Quests
Get Quests from Alma when Online

In Monster Hunter Wilds, event quests can be accepted from the receptionist, Alma, while online. Speak to Alma and select a quest from the 'Event Quest' section to start your challenge.

In Wilds, there is no need to receive additional content at the counter for event quests. As long as you're online, you can immediately challenge the event quests.
Can't Start Event Quest?
Switch to Online Mode

Event quests are exclusive to online mode. You cannot accept them while offline, so make sure you're online when you want to play event quests. As long as you're online, you can accept them even in solo online mode without joining a lobby.
How to Play Solo OnlineCheck Event Period
Event quests have a specific duration. If the period expires, you won't be able to participate in the quest. You'll have to wait for it to be held again.

Quests Available for a Limited Time

In Monster Hunter Wilds, event quests are limited-time quests that you can challenge. Since the available period for each event is fixed, once it's over, you'll have to wait for it to be held again. Event quests often offer special rewards, such as exclusive equipment, so be sure to play within the event period to earn these rewards.
Cannot Run Alongside Some Side Missions
Capturing Endemic Life that meets the side mission's conditions during an Event Quest will not be completed. To progress with side missions, avoid accepting Event Quests.
