  1. Complete Quests to Increase your Hunter Rank
  2. Prioritize the Side Missions
  3. Create High Rank Equipment and Collect Decorations
  4. Progress the Story when a new Chapter starts

In the early stages of Monster Hunter Wilds' High Rank, advance through the main story while increasing your Hunter Rank. After unlocking High Rank, you will not be able to progress through the story chapters unless you raise your Hunter rank to a certain level, so it is important to increase your HR through Optional Quests and side missions.

Prioritize Side Missions

Clear Side Missions with Priority

When trying to raise your Hunter rank, it is recommended that you prioritize clearing side missions. Side missions not only increase your Hunter rank, but also have other benefits, such as unlocking Material Retrieval, which increases material gathering efficiency, and adding support actions for Palico.
