With the Portable BBQ Grill, you can cook meals normally prepared at camp, no matter where you are. It’s especially handy when the effect has worn off and the base camp is too far away.

Once you select the Portable BBQ Grill, the BBQ Menu will appear and you can choose your cooking method. It’s recommended to start with the suggested recipes, and once you’re familiar with it, you can manually choose ingredients that activate effects according to your playstyle.

Select the Ration, Additional Ingredients, and Finishing Touches to complete the dish. Each one provides different effects, so adjust them according to your needs.

Cook a Well-done Steak

With the Portable BBQ Grill, you can cook Raw Meat and make Well-done Steak. Well-done Steak increases your Health maximum to its fullest and restores both Health and Stamina. However, if you don’t have Raw Meat in your pouch, you won’t be able to cook it. If you’re out, carve it from the carcass of small monsters.

Once the meat starts cooking with the Portable Campfire Set, the hunter should place the meat and pull it off immediately after it develops a brown, crisped or charred exterior. You’ll hear a sizzling sound when the meat starts to char, so cooking the meat while listening for the sound makes it easier to succeed.

Press the Button at the Right Time to Cut the Meat

Once you've successfully grilled the meat, you'll move on to slicing it. Press the button 5 times right when the Hunter cuts the meat. Listen to the sound, it's easier to keep the rhythm if you do so. If you succeed all 5 times, you'll receive 12 Well-done Steaks.

How to Use Portable BBQ Grill

Select From Radial Menu or Item List

The Portable BBQ Grill can be used by selecting it from the Radial Menu or from the Items in your inventory. It can be placed anywhere on the field, allowing you to cook without returning to camp or prepare a well-done steak while hunting.

The Portable BBQ Grill in Monster Hunter Wilds is available from the start of the game. It's set in the Radial Menu from the beginning, so if you can't find it in your Item pouch, check the Radial Menu.
