A Flying Wyvern that rules the Windward Plains as its apex predator.
It has adapted to the lightning that accompanies the Sandtide, with most sightings having occurred during the storm.
Its ability to discharge electricity in powerful attacks pose a threat to even the most experienced hunters.

Windward Plains' Apex Monster

Ray Dau is the apex monster in Windward Plains. It is a monster that boasts absolute strength as it harnesses the lightning brought by Inclemency.

Appears During Inclemency Storms

Rey Dau appears during Windward Plains' Inclemency season. In Monster Hunter Wilds, the weather in the field changes dynamically. If Rey Dau is not appearing, you might have to check the weather conditions.

Rey Dau - Attacks And Behaviors

Wing Slam

One of Rey Dau's attack is to slam its wing down on its target. The attack looks to have a lightning attribute, so if you're hit by it, you might get afflicted by lightning.

Horn Slam

Ray Dau has very prominent horns which it can slam down on the ground as an attack. The move is rather fast, requiring hunters to cautious when attacking at close range.

Somersault Wing Slam

Rey Dau goes up to the air and slams its wing on its side to hit its target. Block, guard, or evade when you see it jumping up in the air.

Electric Discharge Attack

Rey Dau reshapes its horns to concentrate lightning to hit its target. This will also create lightning strikes around it. Since the field changes as well during this attack, it seems to be the monster's strongest attack.
