When Sheathed / Riding Seikret

Ready Weapon / Riding Attack(Melee Weapon)

Use Item

Gather

Crouch / Dodge (while moving) / Dismount (Seikret)

Seikret: Speed Up / Dash (Hold)

Seikret: Slow down (Full stop by holding)

There are 14 overall weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds. They each have their own set of attacks and controls with new moves added across all of them.

Can I Change the Button Layout?

Controller Buttons Cannot be Changed

Controller button customization has not been implemented in Monster Hunter Wilds. Some buttons can be changed, but there is no feature to configure all the controls.

Some Buttons can be Changed

Buttons that can be Changed
Confirm Button	Choose between ◯ or ✕
Dash	Choose between R1 only or L3 only, or both
L1 & R1	Functions of L1 and L2; and R1 and R2 can be swapped
Focus Mode	Choose from Hold or Toggle type
Directional Keys	Direction key can be changed

Some buttons can be changed as described above. Adjust them freely based on your preference.

Most of the Keyboard Buttons can be Changed

If you use the keyboard, you can change the button mapping! It is also possible to create new profiles.
