Baunos Spawn Location
Found In Windward Plains

Baunos appears in Area 4 of Windward Plains. The nearest location is the Base Camp in the western part of Area 4. If you haven’t unlocked this camp, you’ll need to use the Seikret to jump over the rocks and reach the upper layer. We recommend pinning Baunos as your destination on the map to navigate to it automatically

The materials obtained from Baunos include the Wingdrake Hide+. The corpse transitions into a rotting corpse approximately 5 minutes after being slain and you will be able to obtain Sturdy Bone and Mystery Bone, followed by a bone mound about 1 minute later.
Sonic Pods Can Be Obtained From Baunos
You can obtain Sonic Pods to use as Slinger Ammo by hitting Baunos with your Slinger.
