Clear Chapter 6-1 For the Best Rewards

If you want the quests that give you the best rewards, you should first clear the story up to Chapter 6. After clearing Chapter 6, the apex monsters such as the Tempered Arkveld and Gore Magala will appear, and the rewards for these Great Hunts are very valuable.
Chapter 6 Walkthrough and GuideGreat Hunt - How to do Runs
- Unlock Great Hunt on all maps
- View Map to see Overview
- If there is a Good Quest, save it as a Quest
- Take a break in the Tent and Advance the time
- Talk to Nata to gather materials and Item Trade - Repeat the steps until you get the Quest you want
The best way to find a Field Survey with multiple targets for doing runs in Monster Hunter Wilds is to repeatedly check the map and take a rest at camp. Since you need to rest many times, it is recommended to progress Material Retrieval and Item Trades at the same time.
Unlock Great Hunt on all Maps

Before you start doing runs on Great Hunt quests, first clear the side missions that are required to unlock them. It's a lot more efficient if you look for these quests on all maps, so start by finishing all the side missions first.
View Map to see Overview

First, open the world map and check the Environment Overview of all areas. Great Hunt Field Surveys appear at the top of the list, so check to see if there are any quests with good rewards.
If there is a Good Quest, save it as a Quest

If you find a quest with good rewards, save it as a quest. You can save it as a quest by placing the cursor on the desired map and pressing the Square button to view the details without having to go to each map.
Field Survey Quest GuideTake a break in the Tent and Advance the time

If you can't find a good quest, take a break in the tent to advance the time. You can also wait in real-time, but if you take a rest at the camp, the information on all maps will be updated immediately.
How Time PassesDo Material Retrieval and Item Trading

While taking a break at camp, talk to Nata in front of Base Camp and progress Material Retrieval, Item Trade, Festival Shares, etc. at the same time. You will not be able to keep more than 16 items for the Material Retrieval, so remember to collect them before it hits the limit.
If you are targeting Apex Monsters, specify the weather to Inclemency
If you want to have apex monsters in the Great Hunts, select "Inclemency" as the weather when taking a rest. If it is a tempered apex monster, it will be a 7-star Quest, so you can aim for the rarest Decoration and Artian parts.
Repeat the steps until you get the Quest you want
If you don't get the quest you want, take a break again, look at the map, and repeat. Guild points are consumed rapidly by resting and saving quests, so be sure to earn them regularly.
How to Farm Guild PointsWhat are Great Hunts?
Quests with 2 Targets

A Great Hunt is a Field Survey with two target monsters. The monsters are randomly selected from the monsters that appear in each map, so keep searching until you find the combination you want.
More Bonus Rewards
Great Hunts have more Bonus Rewards than normal quests. It will take some time since you need to hunt multiple monsters, but it is useful when you want to collect Decoration and Artian parts quickly.
Great Hunt with Best Rewards

Some Great Hunts have even better rewards than others. Some Great Hunt quests give you rare Artian parts, many Decorations or Jewels.
Some 7-Star Quests Also Have Great Rewards

7-star quests that do not include Tempered Monsters also sometimes have great rewards. A Quest with only 3 star monsters and the max amount of rewards may be the most efficient for doing runs.
