Athame Artis is Durin's designated Signature Weapon, which means its tailor-made to increase his value in a team. It's a CRIT Rate main stat weapon, meaning you're able to get Durin to a reasonably high CRIT Rate stat even without accounting for Artifact rolls, making it easier to maximize his damage output.
The passive increases Burst DMG, which is where a lot of his DPS comes from as a Sub-DPS.
