Windward Plains - Camp Locations

All Pop-Up Camp Locations

There are a total of 13 potential camp locations in Windward Plains where players can set up Pop-Up Camps. However, only 4 can be active at the same time. Use the Camping Kit at your preferred location to set up camp.

The Safety Level notes how likely the Pop-Up Camp can be destroyed by a large monster. Once destroyed, it becomes unusable until it is repaired after a certain amount of time passes. It's better to have camps in safe locations to prevent them from being destroyed.

Area 4 and Area 14 are highly recommended locations for camps in Windward Plains. Both have a Safe Safety Level that makes them stable camps to use.

Camps in Area 16 have a high risk of being destroyed since they have Insecure Safety Levels. Having them will allow hunters to fast travel to locations far from the Base Camp so they are quite advantageous to set up.

The Mining Outcrops in Windward Plains can be viewed from the in-game map. Set any of them as your destination and your Seikret will automatically transport you there.

Recommended Ore Farming Route

The best route for collecting ores begins at the upper camp Mineral Cave and continues through the mid-level areas with Mining Outcrops. Once you've gathered ores from the Mining Outcrop in Area 2, fast travel to the camp in Area 6, Valley Hideout.

Use Seikret to Jump From Area 5 to Area 3

Use Seikret to jump from Upper Area 5 to the Mining Outcrop in Mid-level Area 3.Once airborne, use Glide to achieve a smooth and controlled landing.

The location of Bonepiles is also marked in the in-game map. You can set them as targets and your Seikret will automatically take you to its location. It's recommended to have a camp in Area 4 Mineral Cave as there are 4 Bonepiles near each other.
