The recommended ore farming route in Iceshard Cliffs involves starting at the upper level with Mining Outcrops and collecting ores near Pop-Up Camps. After gathering ores at the Mining Outcrop in Area 16, fast travel to Pop-Up Camps in the middle and lower levels to collect nearby ores.

You Can Skip Area 6

The camp in Area 6 is easily detected by monsters and prone to destruction. While you will lose access to one Mining Outcrop, if you prefer to avoid constantly repairing it, fast traveling from Area 16 to Area 20 is also a good option.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, the Bonepile locations in Iceshard Cliffs are in Areas 4, 6, 9, and 14. Some Bonepiles only appear during Fallow, so it's recommended to farm bones in Iceshard Cliffs during this period. The Frozen Icebone are exclusive to this map.

Iceshard Cliffs Bonepile Route

The recommended route for collecting Bonepiles in Iceshard Cliffs is to start from the Base Camp, collect Bonepiles in Areas 7 and 6, then travel via Pop-Up Camps at 'Area 20 Ancient Room' and 'Area 1 Icey Shore Campsitet' while collecting Bonepiles. It’s recommended to repeat the collection and return process during the Fallow Optional Quest.

Area 6 North Campsite is Easily Destroyed

Setting up a camp in the northern part of Area 6 allows you to save time when farming Bonepiles in the middle level. However, the camp in this area is easily destroyed by monsters. If you don’t mind repeatedly repairing it, setting up the camp is a good option.
