What is the Seikret?

The Seikret is a mount that players can ride to traverse through the field. Not only does it help for travel, but it also has features that support players during hunts.
What Can the Seikret do?
Easier Traversal through the Field
Their high mobility allows them to move comfortable around the field. They could be seen moving through the ground and gliding through the air!
It Can Automatically Travel to a Target
It also has a feature wherein it can automatically take you to a target destination you have set. It also displays a number next to a monster icon to indicate the distance, giving you time to prepare well before reaching the monster.
Items & Slingers Can be Used While on the Move
Players will be able to use items and slingers while they are riding the Seikret. It is thought to be an efficient way to heal, chase monsters while sharpening with a Whetstone, or stun them with a Flash Pod.
Weapon Bag Allows Switching Between Two Weapons
The Seikret's weapon bag can hold a second weapon, allowing players to switch weapons even when in the middle of a hunt. The ability to use a melee weapon and a long-range weapon or to have two different elements of the same weapon expands the range of how you fight.
Confirmed to be Able to Help Players During Hunts
In the trailer, the hunter could be seen being knocked down to the ground when it was attacked by a monster. It is unclear if it's through the hunter's input or if it acts automatically, but it appears that it can save the hunter when they're down.
