Seikret - How to Use & Features

Will Automatically Move to Set Waypoint

Call Seikret （Auto）

If you ride the Seikret using the D-pad with a waypoint set, it will automatically take you to the waypoint. This is useful when you need to navigate to a specific monster or location without getting lost.

Set a Waypoint on the Map

You can set a Waypoint from the map screen. Select an icon you want to set as a waypoint and press R3.

Collect Supply Items

How to Access Seikret Pouch

Press the left D-Pad while riding the Seikret to display the Seikret Pouch screen. If pressed while not mounted, the pouch will be displayed after calling and mounting the Seikret.

Glide from a High Elevation

You can glide by holding R2 when jumping from a high elevation while riding a Seikret. This allows you to cover more distance than jumping off without gliding.

Gather Items While Mounted

If you approach an item while mounted, you can gather it using the Slinger. This makes gathering easier and more convenient, as you don’t have to dismount to collect items.

Switch Weapons

How to Switch Weapons

You can switch to your sub-weapon by mounting a Seikret. If you press the right D-pad button while not mounted, you will first mount the Seikret before switching weapons. Additionally, you cannot switch weapons while dismounting from the Seikret.

Perform Riding Attacks

When mounted, close-range weapons can perform two types of attacks: a Riding Attack and a Jumping Attack. Meanwhile, ranged weapons can aim and shoot.

Use Jump Attacks While Dismounting

While moving on a Seikret, you can jump down by pressing the ✕ button, then press △ or R2 button while in the air to perform a Jump Attack.

Use Slinger & items

You can use the Slinger and items while mounted. Use this when you need to use recovery items or hit an enemy with the Slinger while maintaining distance.

Recover When Knockdown

How to recovery with Seikret	While downed or attacked press or

Press the Up or Down D-pad button when you are knocked down from a monster attack, the Seikret will run up to you and help you recover.

The Seikret is a mount that helps the Hunter traverse the map. Not only does it make general movement more comfortable, but it also aids you during hunts by allowing you to switch weapons, perform Riding Attacks, and more.
