Plans for Layered Weapons
Layered Weapons in the Future
Monster Hunter Wilds' Layered Weapons feature has been announced to be implemented in a future update. The exact date has not been announced, but it may be announced on future live broadcasts, etc., so look forward for any further updates.

If you like the look of a weapon, it's a good idea to gather the crafting materials so that you can create a layered weapon immediately after the feature is implemented. It is also likely that the layered weapons for the ones that have already been created will be automatically unlocked.
Weapon Type Tier ListHow to Unlock Layered Armor
- Unlocked When you Craft High-Rank Armor
- Can be changed from the Camp in the Appearance Menu
- Select the Armor you want to layer
Craft High Rank Armor
Monster Hunter Wilds' layered armor is automatically unlocked when High Rank armor is crafted. High Rank armor is unlocked by clearing Chapter 4-1, so first progress through the main story to unlock layered equipment.

You can choose layered equipment from the Equipment Appearance Settings in the "Appearance Menu" on the far right in the camp menu. You can also decide whether to show or hide each part and also choose the color. You can also change underwear and Pendants.
Select the Layered Armor
You can select the Layered Armor to show for each part. You can save your Equipment Appearance presets by pressing the L3 button, so we recommend saving it once you've created an outfit that you like.
