Bubbleblight Countermeasures

Recommended to Remove It Using Cleanser

  1. Cleanser

    Cleanser
    EffectImmediately removes any frost or webbing on your body.
    CraftFire Herb + Godbug Essence

In Monster Hunter Wilds, it is recommended to remove Bubbleblight with Cleanser. Cleanser can be obtained by mixing Fire Herb and Godbug Essence.

Can Be Disabled With the Bubbly Dance Skill

The Bubbly Dance skill can nullify Major Bubbleblight. You need to craft armor to activate the skill, but it is an excellent countermeasure against Bubbleblight.

    Prevents major bubbleblight and increases evasion while afflicted with minor bubbleblight.

    Armor Skills
    Prevents major bubbleblight and ups evasion while afflicted. Trigger minor bubbleblight by evading many times.

There is a Skill That Can Strengthen Affinity During Bubbbleblight

Although it's not a countermeasure, the Slicked Blade skill increases Affinity while affected by Bubbleblight. At Lv3, the increase in Affinity is significant, so it is recommended to pair it with the Bubbly Dance skill and equip gear that takes advantage of the bubbles.

    Temporarily increases affinity when wet or when inflicted with bubbleblight. (Wet and bubbleblight effects stack.)
    Affinity +3% when wet
    +7% while afflicted with bubbleblight
    Affinity +6% when wet
    +14% while afflicted with bubbleblight
    Affinity +9% when wet
    +21% while afflicted with bubbleblight

Break Bubbles With Attacks

Attacks that inflict Bubbleblight can be broken by the Hunter's attacks. If you want to focus on offense, breaking the bubbles with your attacks is also an option.

It Will Be Removed Automatically After 30 Seconds

After being affected by Bubbleblight, if you wait for 30 seconds, it will be automatically removed. If you don't have an immediate way to release it, be careful to avoid taking attacks while positioning yourself.

Gets Canceled When Hit by a Knockback Attack

If you are hit by an attack that blows away the Hunter, Bubbleblight will be cancelled. However, if you are attacked while under the effect of Bubbleblight, you will take additional damage, so it is not recommended to cancel it after being blown away.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, the Bubbleblight effects include difficulty in evasion and movement and additional damage when hit.

Continuously Taking Bubble Attacks Will Intensify the Effects

It will change from Minor Bubbbleblight to Major Bubbbleblight if you continue to receive attacks that inflict Bubbbleblight. Move around while being careful not to receive attacks that inflict Bubblesblight continuously.

Evasion and Movement Become Difficult

When you are afflicted with Bubbleblight, penalties will be applied to evasion and movement. It will become difficult to avoid enemy attacks, so it's recommended to prepare a way to cancel it during battles with unfamiliar enemies.

Receive Additional Damage When Attacked

While afflicted with Bubbleblight, taking in attacks will result in additional damage. This increases the risk of being defeated, so make sure to recover enough HP as you move around.
