The Dark Hornet in Monster Hunter Wilds spawn near the bones in Area 4 of the Windward Plains. These endemics live in groups of 4 to 5 and emit a soft light. Once the Hunter is noticed, these Hornets become hostile and attack, so use the Capture Net to capture the group all at once.

Launches Poison Attack When You Get Close
When you get close to a Dark Hornet, it will attack with Poison Stingers. If you get hit, you will be poisoned for a while. The Dark Hornet also attacks other monsters in the same way, so you can lure monsters near it to inflict them with Poison.
