How To Change Weapons

Change Weapons In Camp

You can change weapons from the Equipment tab in the Base Camp or a Pop-up Camp. Additionally, you can change your secondary weapon and also your armor in this menu.

Cannot Switch Equipped Weapons

Note that you cannot switch your main and sub-weapons if they are equipped. To switch them, you need to unequip them first, then equip them again.

How To Switch to Sub-Weapons

Switch With Right D-pad

You can switch weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds by pressing the right directional pad button or "X" on the keyboard. When switching, you will always be riding a Seikret, and it is not possible to switch weapons while dismounting from Seikret.

Dismount Seikret After Switching Weapons

After switching weapons, dismount your Seikret to return to combat. Note that there is a slight delay before switching weapons; if you dismount too early, the switch will not occur.
