Near the Gillopod, you will also find "Pillopod", which is the smaller version, so be careful not to mistake them. Gillopod is larger than Pillopod, so you can distinguish them by size.

How to Capture Gillopod

Approach and Capture with the Capture Net

When capturing a Gillopod, getting close enough for the Capture Net to reach is recommended. Since it won’t flee when you approach, make sure to aim carefully and capture it.
