Monster Hunter Wilds' for Artian weapons, enhancement elements are involved from the selection of the parts used during production. The weapon's performance changes greatly depending on the combination of the elements and bonuses of the 3 selected parts.Make sure to not compromised from the point of creating the weapon.

Make a Specialized Weapon from 3 Parts

Make a Specialized Weapon from 3 Parts

Artian Weapons can be produced by combining 3 parts of the same rarity and required for each weapon type. There are 2 important things when choosing parts, Performance Type and Artian Bonus. These 2 factors will greatly change the performance of the weapon produced.

Required Parts differ by Weapon Type

Required Parts differ by Weapon Type
Great Sword Blade, Blade, Tube Long Sword Blade, Tube, Tube
Sword & Shield Blade, Tube, Disc Dual Blades Blade, Blade, Disc
Hammer Disc, Disc, Tube Hunting Horn Disc, Device, Device
Lance Blade, Disc, Disc Gunlance Disc, Disc, Device
Switch Axe Blade, Blade, Device Charge Blade Blade, Disc, Device
Insect Glaive Blade, Tube, Device Light Bowgun Tube, Device, Device
Heavy Bowgun Disc, Tube, Device Bow Tube, Tube, Device

When crafting an Artian Weapon for any weapon type, the combination of parts required to produce it is determined by the weapon type. You can't use parts that do not apply to that weapon type, so if you are short on parts, get them in advance.

Enhancement Bonus depends on the number of Matching Performance Types

Enhancement Bonus depends on the number of Matching Performance Types
Same Element ×3[Becomes a Performance type Element]
For Element specialization, the element value increases the most.
* Bowgun has Element/Status Effect Ammo Capacity+1
Same Element ×2[Becomes a Performance type Element]
Element value increases but not recommended
Various Type[Weapon Element becomes Elementless]
Element type also disappears from Reinforcement Bonus for elementless specialization

When choosing material parts for Artian Weapons, the recommended upgrade method is to select 3 types with the same performance and make a weapon with specialized element values, or use different elements to make a general-purpose weapon with no elements. Since the Bowguns has no element, Ammo's Capacity is used as a bonus instead.

Some Weapon Types changes to Shelling and Melody Type

Regarding the weapon types Hunting Horn, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, Bow, and Bowgun, the selected performance type determines the type such as Melody or Shelling type. Check what can be used for each weapon type depending on the performance type match.

Artian Bonus can Specialize Attack or Affinity

Artian Bonus can Specialize Attack or Affinity
Affinity Infusion[Affinity Increases]
+5% per 1 item (max +15%)
Base Attack Enhancement[Attack Increases]
+5% for 1 (max+15%}

When choosing material parts for Artian Weapons, Artian Bonus, which can enhance "Attack" and "Affinity", is important. In terms of the current Weapon Attack power, it is easier to increase the overall fire power by increasing the base attack, but there are also weapon that works better with Affinity like Dual Blades and Bow.

Recommended Bonuses for Weapon Types

Weapon Types Best for Affinity
Dual Blades/ Light Bowgun/ Heavy Bowgun/ Bow
Weapon Types Best for Attack
Great Sword/ Long Sword/ Sword and Shield/ Dual Blades/ Hammer /Hunting Horn/ Lance
Switch Axe/ Charge Blade/ Insect Glaive/ Light Bowgun/ Heavy Bowgun/ Bow

As explained above, for most weapon types, increasing the Base Attack will currently result in more damage than increasing Affinity. In the future, if Master Rank and other ranks are added and the attack power of the weapon itself increases significantly, making hunters benefit more from Affinity.

Once Production is Complete, Reinforce to get Bonus

Production is Complete, Bonus will be Received by Restoring the Item

Reinforcement Bonus is the most important element when it comes to upgrading Artian Weapons. Artian Weapons produced by using materials will have up to 5 random bonuses, so this is the real thrill of farming for Artian Weapons.

Where to get Reinforcement Materials?

Material NameHow to Get
Oricalcite (300pt)- Obtained from smelting in Azuz Village, The Everforge
- Festivla Shares
- Item Trade with Kirakamen in Scarlet Forest

It is recommended that you only collect "Oricalcite" as the material needed to enhance the reinforced Artian Weapons. There is no advantage to collecting other materials.

Maximum Number of Reinforced Bonuses that can be Granted.

* Tried it about 200 times, and it seems that the maximum number of Reinforcement Bonus granted depends on the type of Reinforcement Bonus. If you receive a bonus that exceeds the maximum, please provide a screenshot in the comments.

Reinforcement Bonus cannot be Reset or Redrawn

Reinforcement Bonus cannot be Reset or Redrawn

Artian Weapon, if the desired reinforced enhancement bonus is not given, there is no way to change that bonus at all. You have two choices: use the missing bonus as is, or dismantle the weapon itself.

If it's Dismantled, all the Materials for Reinforcement will be Returned

If it's Dismantled, all the Materials for Reinforcement will be Returned

You can opt to keep the Artian Weapons for using or dismantle them if the bonus you wanted is not there. If you dismantle an Artian Item, the item used for reinforcement will be returned. Therefore, the reinforcement and enhancement materials can be recycled forever as long as you do not keep the weapon. Also, if you dismantle it, you will receive +1 material as a bonus.

Parts used for Crafting won't Return

Parts used during Production will not be Returned

One thing to note when dismantling an Artian weapon is that the three Artia parts used to produce it will not be returned.. Therefore, if you need more parts to produce it again, you will need to obtain more parts.

Reinforcement can be Rerolled

Artian Weapon's Reinforcement Bonus is a completely random gacha element, but you can use reroll to carefully select the same bonus. If you cannot get the desired bonus with the normal reinforcement method, please try the reset method described below.

How to Reroll Reinforcement Bonus

Preparing for Carefully Selected Rerolls

What you need for Reroll

- 3 Favorite parts that you want to attach to the type of weapon you want to make
- prepare a large amount of suitable Artian parts
- 50 Oricalcite for enhancing reinforcement
- Enough money needed to create weapons (10,000 for each time)
* Strictly, it is carefully selected using pre-reading

Artian Weapon rerolling requires Artian Parts, Oricalcite, and Money as advance preparations. If you don't have enough materials, collect the rerolling materials first.

How to Carefully Select Reinforcement Bonus Rerolls

  1. ▼ Save before Producing Artian Weapons
  2. ▼ Create a Weapon with an Element of the Weapon Type you want to Aim
    - For Bowgun, select the Element Ammo you want use
    - Make it with something other than elementless
  3. ▼ Dismantle the weapons if you don't get the bonus you want with the Enhanced Reinforcement
  4. ▼ Repeat steps 2~3 until you get the Bonus you want
    - Remember the number of times it takes to get the bonus you want
  5. ▼ When you get the bonus you want, return to the title without saving
    - Remember the number of times you enhanced the weapon to get the bonus
  6. ▼ When the number is the same as the number you were counting, produce your favorite weapon and complete

Rerolling Artia weapons allows you to carefully select the reinforcement bonus by using the materials you prepared in advance and the save function. The steps are explained below

Save before Producing Artian Weapons

First, before crafting the Artia weapon, save your current data. This save data will be needed later on, so be sure to do so.

Create a Weapon with an Element of the Weapon Type you want to Aim

Create a Weapon with an Element of the Weapon Type you want to Aim

Once you have saved your game, combine the parts to create the weapon with the elements you want. The important thing here is to have three parts of the same rarity and performance type, so be sure to match the performance type attributes.

Dismantle the weapons if you don't get the bonus you want with the Enhanced Reinforcement

Dismantle the weapons if you don't get the bonus you want with the Enhanced Reinforcement

Maximum Number of Reinforcement Bonuses that can be Granted.

* Tried it about 200 times, and it seems that the maximum number of Reinforcement Bonus granted depends on the type of Reinforcement Bonus. If you receive a bonus that exceeds the maximum, please provide a screenshot in the comments.

Reinforcement BonusMaximum number of grants
Base Attack Enhancingup to 5
Affinity Enhancementup to 3
Element Boostup to 4
Sharpness Enhancementup to 2
Capacity Enhancementup to 2

Reinforce the Artian weapon. Use all the reinforcement materials you have prepared and reinforce the weapon to max. If you don't get the bonus you want here, You can get back the reinforcement materials you used by dismantling it. This step is not necessary, so skip it if you have extra reinforcement materials.

Repeat steps 2~3 until you get the Bonus you want

Repeat the Tasks
2Create a Weapon with an Element of the Weapon Type you want to Aim for
3Dismantle the weapons if you don't get the bonus you want with the Enhanced Reinforcement

Please repeat the steps 2 to 3 until you get the combination of Reinforcement Bonus you want for Artian Weapon reinforcement. Also, count and remember the number of times until you get the bonus want.

When you get the bonus you want, return to the title without saving

When you get the bonus you want, return to the title without saving

If you get the Reinforcement Bonus that you are looking for during repeated tasks, return to title screen without saving. When you return to title screens, please restart the game.

When the Count is the Same as you Previously Counted, Produce the Weapon You Want to Craft

When the number is the same as the number you were counting, produce your favorite weapon and complete the game

When you start the game, you will be returned to the data you saved for the first time, so create a weapon with appropriate parts without restoring reinforcement until the number of times it took to get the bonus you want. After that, if you create an Artian Weapon with the 3 parts that will be your favorite when the count is the same, you can get the weapon with the bonus you want.
