Congalala Newly Announced!
The pink-furred fanged beast with a penchant for flatulence, Congalala. The monsters will appear in groups that feature smaller ones led by an Alpha, like Doshaguma.
Yian Kut-Ku Newly Announced!
The big beaked bird wyvern, Yian Kut-Ku. It first appeared in the very first Monster Hunter game but it's been 7 years since its last game appearance. It may play a special role since the Producer hinted at it.
Arkveld
A monster known among the commission as the White Wraith, described as having unique chain-like appendages extending from its wings.
A species long thought to have been extinct, its ecology remains shrouded in mystery.

Uth Duna

A Leviathan that rules the Scarlet Forest as its apex predator.
It has adapted to water-rich environments and is sighted most often during the Downpour.
It makes use of the moisture and its own bodily fluids to create a protective veil around itself.

Quematrice
Brute wyverns with disproportionately long tails.
They spread a flammable substance, then ignite it by dragging their tails along the ground.
They can often be seen fighting with other, smaller carnivores over carrion.

"From the look of it... That must be this region's apex predator."
A Flying Wyvern that rules the Windward Plains as its apex predator.
It has adapted to the lightning that accompanies the Sandtide, with most sightings having occurred during the storm.
Its ability to discharge electricity in powerful attacks pose a threat to even the most experienced hunters.

A Temnoceran that resides in the Scarlet Forest.
Its thorax, which can be opened at will, resembles a rose in bloom.

Rigged, territorial fanged beasts that exhibit an aggressive disposition and inhabit a large range. Sometimes observed in large packs.

A large species of amphibians that use the adhesive quality of their saliva to affix stone on their forelimbs in order to power up their attacks.

Rathalos
Rathalos was only shown at the end of the announcement trailer. The series' flagship monster will appear in Wilds, continuing Rathalos' legacy of appearing in every Monster Hunter game.
Small Monsters
Dalthydon
The Dalthydon is a small herbivorous wyvern that inhabits the Windward Plains, however it changes habitats based on the season. When threatened, it will enter a defensive state and fight back with its powerful head shell.
Ceratonoth
The Ceratonoth are small monsters that can catch lightning strikes with the dorsal horns on their backs, then discharge them into the ground. You'll find large herds of them during your adventures in the Forbidden Lands.
Amstrigian
They mostly live in the Scarlet Forest, but migrate to the Windward Plains during the Plenty, to breed. They mate and share nesting and feeding duties to raise their babies. In the field, you can see them catching grasshoppers and feeding in their nests.

Arkveld was seen in the previous trailer in Windward Plains. However, the official website does not include it in the monsters that reside in Windward Plains. It's possible that it will only appear there as part of the story.
Rathalos
Rathalos, Monster Hunter's flagship monster, was seen flying over Windward Plains in the announcement trailer. However, since it has not been featured in other trailers or the website, it's unclear if Windward Plains will be its habitat.
