How to Fish Speartuna
Tuff Joint Bait is Recommended Lure

The recommended lure to fish Speartuna is Tuff Joint Bait. It is confirmed that other lures such as Emerald Jitterbait can also be used to catch Speartuna, but it is much more difficult.
Get Lure From Side Mission

Tuff Joint Bait can be obtained from the side mission "The Catch of a Lifetime" from NPC Kanya at Base Camp in Scarlet Forest.

When Speartuna notices the lure, start by quickly moving the L stick up and down to guide it as close as possible using "fast reel". By guiding the fish up close, you can shorten the time for maneuvering after the fish bite, making it less likely to fail. After guiding the fish to the front, reel in slowly to catch.
Catching Speartuna Requires Specific Controls
Once Speartuna bites, the game begins. The player needs to react according to Speartuna's movements, and if the player is slow to react, fishing fails.
